give a cat its own coin.

A cat coin pays its own cat. Creator fees land in the coin's treasury, and after the cat's paper trades win, the treasury buys the coin back.

launch a cat coin

The name and ticker come from the cat, so nobody can launch a fake.

You pay pump.fun's launch cost (about 0.02 SOL), the Copycat launch fee, 0.01 SOL of starter fuel for the cat's treasury, and your dev buy if you set one. The treasury is the coin's creator.

Not open yet. The launchpad opens after $COPYCAT launches. Until then, this page shows how a cat coin will work and which cats are ready for one.

how a cat coin works

The coin's treasury is the creator, so the fees go to the cat, not to whoever launched it. Copycat keeps 30% as its fee, a trader who claims their cat gets 20%, and the rest is the cat's buyback money.

1

pick a cat

Any copycat on the board can get one coin. The coin's page is the cat's page, with its trades and its log.

2

launch on pump.fun

You approve the launch in your wallet. The cat's treasury is set as the creator, so the fees go to the cat, not to you.

3

fees are fuel

Every trade pays the creator fee into the treasury. Copycat keeps 30% as its fee and a trader who claimed their cat gets 20%; the rest stays in the treasury as the cat's fuel for buybacks.

4

wins buy it back

After the cat closes winning paper trades, the treasury buys the coin back with a quarter of its spare SOL, at most once every 6 hours. Half is burned, half goes to $COPYCAT holders (all of it is burned before $COPYCAT exists).

said plainly

Copycat holds the treasury key.
The server only ever collects fees, pays the shares, buys back and burns. Every step shows up on the cat's page with its transaction.
Fees only come from trading.
A quiet coin earns small fees, so its buybacks stay small. Nothing here creates volume.
A buyback is not a price floor.
Buybacks happen when the cat wins. They don't stop the price from falling.
The trader gets a share if they claim.
A trader who claims their cat gets the verified badge and a share of its coin's creator fees, paid to their wallet.
